#SRCONF 2011: Press & Blogger Reviews

Posted by Alex Lund on July 14th, 2011 |

Following SRCONF 2011 held on 30th June 2011, some of you have shared what you’ve learned and taken away from this exciting conference and we’ve decided to compile those press and blogs post. Read below:

  • Bob Anthony (Ri5.co.uk) wrote a detailed and extensive article that reviewed each of the presentations at the Conference.
  • Jon Ingham (StrategicHCM) published several content-rich posts during the conference, including his analysis of presentations or discussions by Paul Maxin (Unilever), Matt Jeffery (Autodesk) and David Henry (Monster/BeKnown
  • Andy Headworth (Sirona) discussed lessons learned from recruiting Gen Zer’s based on the unique and non-corporate case study delivered by Doug Fraley of The Challenge.
  • Hung Lee (WiseManSay) excellently reviewed the conference with highlights on some of the topics that may be relevant for future events.
  • Lisa Jones (BarclayJones IT Stratagy) shared what she learned and posted her key takeaways from the day. I’m sure her key points will fuel her brain cells as much as it did for her.
  • Gareth Jones (BrubakerHR) questioned and analyzed several of the presentations on that day and how his comments during the Talent Community debate spurred a lively conversation.
  • Mervyn Dinnen (Jobsite) narrowed down the all day conference in 6 points in his post, where he insisted that Social Recruiting is personal.
  • Peter Ward (EmployerConnections) restricted his review to five key thoughts that it provoked on him, one of which is that Trust can be built online.
  • Oscar Mager (RecruitingEssentials.nl) analyzed the Monster’s Beknown app presented by David Henry at #SRCONF with an embed video of the demo.
  • Bas van de Haterd (RecTec.nl) wrote an excellent blog about the conference, where he wished there were more case studies of the corporates using alumni’s and crowdsourced recruiting.

If we have missed any more reviews, please let us know and this shall be updated accordingly.
